The Real Estate Shared Mobility Navigator is part of SHARE-North Squared (SN²), an Interreg North Sea Region project. SN² brings together cities, housing providers, NGOs and researchers from seven countries to integrate shared mobility into real-estate developments, improve bicycle parking and implement further mobility management solutions, hence not only lowering the demand for parking but also the need for owning a private car.

Our conviction is simple: by integrating shared mobility (car sharing, shared bikes, mobility hubs) into the design of residential neighborhoods, office developments, social housing and all other types of real-estate developments from day one, we can not only build more sustainable and more affordable housing – we can create more liveable cities.
Real-life living labs
In several pilot neighbourhoods across the North Sea Region, we implement shared mobility in new and existing residential developments — and measure its impact on car ownership and the use of space.
Parking Bylaws and Guidelines
We develop clear recommendations and legal frameworks for integrating and communicating mobiliy management measures as well as shared mobility into real-estate and area developments.
Training
The City of Bremen, Stavanger kommune and other partners have developed specific training modules not only for architects and planners, but also for city officials, who would like to learn about innovative parking bylaws, carsharing and good bikeparking in real-estate developments and how communication actually works.
